TAZZA GLASS - Mike Grau, Glassblower, Medina, OH. this web portfolio required a very high contrast framework; however, to lessen glare, headers and text were cast in tints and shades rather than true hues. the splash page required special attention to pattern/texture, contrast and proximal clarity. for truly one of a kind gifts or to add to your own collection, I highly recommend TAZZA GLASS.

NEOAVER.org - NorthEastern Ohio American Veterans for Equal Rights - Cleveland / Akron / Canton / Youngstown chapter of AVER. This site is under constant construction as the chapter is still very new.

AVER - American Veterans for Equal Rights [formerly GLBVA] - a national Veterans Service Organization. This site required a complete graphic overhaul, as the design had not been changed much at all since 1998, only the information. Also, the Organization wanted to add features such as members-only bulletin and anouncement boards, chat for online meetings, and other PHP features, as well as an online payment gateway for dues and donations.

As a graduate student, I was hired as the webmaster for the Anthropology Dept at KSU -- a very impressive department in its own, and now sister dept. of the brand new Matthew Ferrini Institute for Human Evolutionary Research. The goal in designing this website was to bring it out of 1999 and as far into contemporary web design as possible, while building the structure in such a manner that [whichever graduate assistant took over the site at the end of my contract] would not need to be a pro-web designer to maintain it. This site was completed in December 2003, and my templates, graphics and overall design are still in use currently.
